Nearly four months later, hundreds of miles away in rural Illinois, the discovery of an unidentified young woman opened another mystery. For nearly 48 years, no one realized the two stories were connected. A breakthrough in 2024 finally revealed the connection, but it solved only half the mystery. At around 4 p.m., they were seen together. Soon after, both children were missing. Search dogs reportedly tracked Kreneice’s scent to the road, but no farther. In this episode of Hunting 4 Answers: On the morning of December 1st, 2015, two young girls approached a woman in Houma, Louisiana, and said a man had taken them from their home the night before. They also said he had shot their aunt and caregiver, 56-year-old Pamela Jean Myles-Johnson. Nearly seven years later, two arrests appeared to mark a break in the case, but no indictments followed. In 2025, additional arrests followed, and authorities publicly revealed who they believed wanted Pamela killed and why. As of this recording, the investigation remains active, and no trial or conviction has been publicly announced.
