You may have been told that you have to publish new episodes weekly to grow your podcast audience and have a successful podcast as a business owner. But that couldn’t be further from the truth. You can have a successful podcast whether you publish episodes every other week or seasonally. Today on the podcast, I’m sharing why I decided not to return to a weekly podcast publishing schedule after my maternity leave, and how dropping to a biweekly schedule has affected my podcast. So, if you’re thinking about switching to a biweekly or seasonal podcast but aren’t sure whether it will negatively impact your podcast's growth and visibility, today’s episode is for you. In this episode, I'm giving you all the tea on: Why I decided to stick with a biweekly podcast publishing schedule after returning from my maternity leave How publishing fewer episodes each month affected my podcast and business growth How one of my Accelerator clients ghosted her podcast for 5 months and still made 3 course sales Resources Mentioned in Today's Episode: Apply to join the Evergreen Marketing Accelerator ! I’ve been seeing many discussions on Threads about maternity leave planning for small businesses. And it’s interesting to see everyone’s viewpoints on whether you should take maternity leave as an entrepreneur. Since this was my second time being pregnant as a business owner, I figured it would be helpful to share my experience with not taking maternity leave and planning for a 3-month leave. If you’re currently pregnant or planning to get pregnant while running your business, definitely listen to this episode. I give you some things to think about when it comes to maternity leave while running your business, and I share some things I did to make this last maternity leave peaceful and profitable. Side Note: I recorded this before I returned from my leave. Originally, I planned to take the full 3 months, but I decided to return a month early and took on 3 new clients for September. In this episode, I'm giving you all the tea on:While all small businesses should prep for maternity leave, even if you don’t plan to officially take oneWhy I regret not taking a maternity leave the first time I was pregnant while running my businessWhat I did to prep my clients, marketing, and income for maternity leaveResources Mentioned in Today's Episode:Evergreen Marketing AcceleratorPodcast Like a Business Owner Podcast Launch CourseInterested in learning more about my new offer, DFY Threads for Podcast Growth?
