We take a moment to reflect on the 25th anniversary of 9/11 with a deeply personal and chilling story. Shaun recounts her time working at Dean Witter Reynolds in Tower Two of the World Trade Center during the summer of 2001, her daily commute through the underground mall, and the powerful premonition from her grandmother, "Ninnie," that forced her to quit her job and leave New York just four days before the tragedy.
We break down the headlines around 911, share our perspectives, and explore why these stories are generating so much attention. 0:00 Why 9/11 matters 0:40 Remembering 9/11 and meaning 2:00 Working at Dean Witter / WTC 4:00 Commute, mall, and morning routine 7:00 Decision to leave World Trade Center 9:30 Reflection on the towers and closing Fair Use Disclaimer: Portions of this video may include copyrighted material used for purposes such as commentary, criticism, news reporting, education, and discussion.
