You know the Word.
You pray.
You worship.
You’ve grown in your faith. But why can one disappointment, one conflict, one comment, or one old wound still send your emotions spinning? Sometimes our spirit has grown, but our emotions haven’t caught up. We can know God more deeply and still be learning how to process pain, handle disappointment, communicate through conflict, and heal from what hurt us.  This week, Pastor Yolande and Pastor Joe are going beyond the surface to ask: Can we really call ourselves spiritually mature if our faith never reaches our emotions, relationships, reactions, and wounds? God isn’t simply developing what you know—He is transforming the whole person. And sometimes growing up spiritually means allowing God to grow us emotionally too.  This conversation may help you put language to a place in your life you’ve been struggling to understand.
